When Goidelic eyes are smiling…again- Padrig Harrington wins the PGA Championship

Three weeks after success his 2nd serial British Open, Ireland’s Padrig Harrington wins the PGA Championship. Back to back 66s gave Harrington a two-shot get over Sergio Garcia and Ben Curtis.

Harrington has been a top European participant for a decade. I thought he could get a field one day, but 3 out of 6 and back to back? Never. His 2007 British Open get may have been more than a lowercase fortunate. Several golfers having Sunday meltdowns. In 2008 Padrig came out on top at the British and PGA playing the best golf, at the same time no one else blowing the tournaments. Will there be Padrig slam talk now? Light Flyweight Semifinals

Paddy Barnes (IRL) vs. Zou Shiming (CHN)

His astounding streak module end against Tishchenko who has been one of the more attractive (conventional) boxers in this stinker of an Olympic tournament. Alexey fights as if he is in a boxing match. Mercy me!

Yordenis Ugas (CUB) vs. Daouda Sow (FRA)
Both Ugas and Sow faced tough rivalry in the quarters and both emerged with close wins. Ugas is a smooth, overconfident fighter, Sow is an octopus-like grabber. Let’s hope Ugas can outsmart Sow’s awkwardness. If Ugas wins boxing fans module be the victor.
