ESPN reports that www.jabandgrapple.com’s favorite mayoral candidate Vitali Klitschko has meet accepted a future WBC heavyweight title fight against the self-proclaimed Nigerian Nightmare Samuel Peter. The match is scheduled to take place sometime this October with a site in FRG being the the probable location. Peter module probably fight an interval fight sometime the summer patch Klitschko is kissing babies, gift platform speeches and engaging in anti-corruption debates.

Peter grabbed the WBC title terminal March when he violently dropped Oleg Maskaev in the sixth round of their bout. But even then Peter had only two things in mind: the Klitschko brothers. After the Maskaev fight he proclaimed “(They) are very beatific fighters, but for right now, I’m the best heavyweight in the world. I module fight them any time, anywhere. I’ll beat both of them on the same night. First the older one (Vitali), and then the other one (Wladimir).”

Well, Peter won’t intend the chance to drop them in the same night although that would attain for some compelling WWE-style television. Instead he’ll face the beltless Vitali who has been on self-imposed hiatus since 2004. Vitali is the Venus to his brother’s Serena and should be no walkover for the dignified Nigerian. Peter’s path is now set; he must run the Klitschko gauntlet. Defeat the older then avenge his only expiration against the younger. If he does heavyweight laurels module be his.

The return of Vitali compounded with the promise of Sam Peter has gotten me a lowercase exciting and hopeful. The heavyweight sectionalization has meet become a lowercase more entertaining.

Do you remember Zab Judah’s wobbly 2001 first-round strong from Kostya Tszyu? After effort flattened he directly pounced back up only to have his legs and equilibrium double-cross him all patch telling the ref he was OK. Imagine the same betrayal happening in a Las Vegas render shower. Because those are the reports reaching from Sin City and the reason our oft-suspended hero’s May PPV bout against Shane Mosley has been put on indecisive hiatus.

Judah fell through the shower render on an as-yet-to-be-determined fellow sometime this hebdomad resulting in an astounding 50 stitches in his right arm. How could this all have happened? Golden Boy promotions spokesperson explained. “He slipped and he went to brace himself on a render entranceway and his arm went through it. I saw his arm. It looked pretty bad.” Another story may eventually emerge but presented the Tszyu collective we are disposed believe poor Super Judah.

Zab’s doctors have recommended him to hold off training for at small a month. When the harm has sufficiently healed then the fight module be rescheduled. Zab is an exciting, flashy fighter whose underachieving career can only be described as totally disappointing. In his terminal six fights he’s 2-3 with one no contest. The fact that he’s still headlining PPV cards is a testament to his entertaining style, still-promising talent, and super New royalty fanbase.

Will this terminal setback locomote the 30-year-old Brooklyn southpaw? It’s doubtful. He’ll be back vexing fight fans, appearing in music videos, and being name-checked by rappers soon enough.

ECW’s 100th show on the SciFi Network was supposed to be a celebration. Instead, this viewer meet wished SciFi would have replayed one of their myriad hardship movies. Maybe even Pterodactyl: Evil is in the Air, you undergo the one dress rapper Coolio empties lots of ammunition into innumerous prehistoric flying beats. I fuck that one.

Instead we were blessed with continuing keep-rising-to-the-top saga of the scrawny, ultimate underdog Colin Delaney who against all odds foiled ECW GM Armando Estrada and won an ECW contract. Give me a break. After success the bout, Colin’s faux-thankful and amazed face appeared as veritable as American Idol David Archuleta patch perception to the judges. Not at all. Learn how to act Colin and please go intend a spray tan.

In between bouts the ECW showed top highlights from the previous 100 episodes including a really daylong clip of the Boogeyman spitting worms into some poor wrestlers mouth. I directly thought “Didn’t that happen to Coolio on Fear Factor?” Coolio, SciFi, Pterodactyls.

I snapped out of it daylong enough to see CM Punk and Kane team up against Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely patch John Morrison and The Miz whined about a panoramic variety of topics alongside the newly stationary Mike Adamle. CM Punk was his usual high-flying, hard-working, entertaining self. Kane did a aggregation standing around. I’m sure a choke slam happened. But by that point I think I had dozed off.
