Players effort arrested for DUI or being bacchanalian are regular occurences. The only reason Benson stands out, is because he did it patch boating. Leave it to NFL players to find some assorted structure to intend in trouble with the law.

Two Charges Against Man who Landed His Plane on a Golf Course

Except this guy landed his airplane on a sport instruction and the authorities “caught” him. (”Caught” isn’t necessarily the right word since that implies he was trying to intend away, but…) Yesterday, Robert Kadera, the 65-year-old flying offender, was charged with reckless carry and endangering the chronicle or health of a child. Both are misdemeanors.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t there murders, drug rings and rapes feat on all over the nation? Not that I’m saying construction a plane on a sport instruction is inferior of an issue, but - yeah - that’s what I’m saying!

In the 109 comments mitt on the article, the subject of being rich keeps reaching up. I undergo a few rich people. Some of them are okay and some of them are rank jerks (kind of same poor people…weird), but one thing is pretty common. They’re not feat to stop acting same they’re rich because the slap on the carpus they got for construction their pet plane on somebody else’s realty isn’t feat to bother them.

I mean…at small it was a tennis lesson. I’m pleased to see they have their priorities straight.

Which Vicki almost was. Back to that later.

Vicki is at present playing her rookie assemblage on the Duramed Futures Tour. At present, Vicki is #1 on that tour’s money list. If you think Vicki has played the LPGA pros a enthusiastic some times before the Semgroup, think again. Like 30?

Hurst is meet one part of the intercommunicate of Korean-American girls who module soon be influencing US Ladies Professional golf. Vicki’s Mom Koko, who caddies for her girl but not this week, was born in South Korea. I think we’ll be hearing alot of more of Vicki, Kimberly Kim, designer Shin, and others in the eld ahead.

A very nice humanitarian intercommunicate by the Vikings ownership and management. As a fellow cancer survivor, I desire Udeze beatific phenomenon in his battle against leukemia. My half sister Patty is also a cancer survivor.

Now This Kid’s a Packer Fan!

After 5 daylong eld of act it every day–yes, really, every day–David Witthoft, 11, of Green Bay, WI, is retiring his #4 Brett Favre jersey. Story here.

In case you’re wondering, yes, his mom claims to have clean the jersey every single of the 1,581 life in a row he wore it. Near the end, the jersey barely came downbound to his belt line!

Now I remember act my Fred Biletnikoff #25 Raiders jersey a aggregation back when I was a kid. I could even name every single Raiders player by jersey number or by the position they played, and I thought I was a pretty big fan of my team.

But David, I must bow to your greatness. You’re one cool, Favre/Packer-lovin’ lowercase dude!

Much icebox than my fellow freaky Raider fans.

1. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
With an average of 14.2 rebounds per game, Dwight Howard was far and away the best rebounder in the NBA. At 22, Howard’s rebounding numbers should move to rise over the next few years.

2. Marcus Camby, Denver Nuggets
Not only does Marcus Camby block shots, he’s an elite rebounder. He averaged 13.1 rebounds per game and consistently rebounded all season. Camby also stayed healthy, which in itself was very beatific to see.

3. Tyson Chandler, New Orleans Hornets
This former Baby Bull is now all grown up. As a member of the Hornets, Chandler is now playing enthusiastic basketball. He can block shots, rebound and shoots for a high percentage offensively.

4. Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
While Tim Duncan doesn’t play a huge amount of minutes anymore, he still is a enthusiastic rebounder. Duncan is beatific at a aggregation things on the basketball court, however rebounding might be his most high aspect in the fantasy world.

5. Al Jefferson, Minnesota Timberwolves
When the Wolves traded for Al Jefferson, they knew they were effort a baritone post scorer and a very capable rebounder. President didn’t spoil in either aspect. He has a chance to be a league-leader in rebounds for some eld to come.

kobe bryant jazz
Western Conference
1) Los Angeles Lakers
4) Utah Jazz
Prediction: Lakers in six. The Lakers are extremely tough to beat when Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol are both playing. The Jazz also don’t have a belligerent to guard Bryant.

2) New Orleans Hornets
3) San Antonio Spurs
Prediction: Spurs in six. The Hornets are a very beatific teen team but the Spurs module figure out a artefact to dress them downbound and intend the series victory.

Eastern Conference
1) Boston Celtics
4) Cleveland Cavaliers
Prediction: Cavs in six. The Celtics looked very average in the first round against the Hawks. LeBron saint module be too much to handle.

2) city Pistons
3) Orlando Magic
Prediction: Pistons in four. The Pistons match up enthusiastic against the Magic. The Magic won’t have a chance.

Granted, her serve needs a aggregation of transformation and her demand of mental strength costs her some matches. But I fuck her game.

ESPN did a story on Jankovic’s style of play and her style of personality. The mental fitness issue. The serve. Hmm…these things sound familiar don’t they? Oh wait, I meet mentioned them above. Maybe I need to drop my resume by the ESPN office.

Jankovic is a fighter. She’s gritty, and she’s tough. But she’s not a closer. Not yet. The big moments at finals and semifinals on the big stage, Jankovic can’t bring the goods. Will that come? She’s 23. She could have a aggregation of eld left. Get a bigger serve. Groom some mental toughness.

How you do that, I’m not sure. It’s not same she’s never been in the center ring before, because she certainly has. Maybe she should take a trip to those empty swimming pools where she scholarly how to play tennis. The surround always returns the ball and you never intend a break; it’s a place to start, right?

Triumph and Tragedy in metropolis

My bride and I have meet returned from our annual pilgrimage to Churchill Downs. We have only missed one Derby weekend since we met; terminal assemblage my girl mark from college and was licenced a Second Lieutenant.

We avoided the awful defy watching the races from the Oaks Day Member Party exclusive the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs.

This of instruction means that our terminal Derby saw Barbaro lie the field and a disenchanting buzz started about a probable Triple Crown succeeder in the making. The buzz ended tragically when Barbaro went downbound at the Preakness and after an eight month fight to save him was finally put down.

Before the weekend of racing started, a rendering of a statue of Barbaro was unveiled. The statue and the ashes of the enthusiastic horse module be memorialized at Churchill Downs. The memories of Barbaro did not end with the statue ceremony however.

In an under card race on Friday before the Oaks, the first humorous twist of the hazards of thoroughbred racing occurred.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Two eld after Barbaro’s catastrophic breakdown, trainer Michael Matz watched another one of his colts break downbound in a race at Churchill Downs on Friday.

Chelokee, a 4-year-old colt, took a misstep on the sloppy track and fractured his right front leg, veterinarian Larry Bramlage said. The horse was running in fourth place over a sloppy track when he was scraped at the top of the stretch of the Alysheba.

“That’s amazingly very similar to what Barbaro had, only in another leg,” Bramlage said.

Chelokee had won the speech “Barbaro Stakes” terminal assemblage at Pimlico.

It has been over 55 eld since a trainer won the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby in the same weekend. Larry designer definite to take the risk. He scratched his heavily favored filly Eight Belles from the Oaks to enter her in the Derby. She would be the first filly to run the historic race since 1999.

Friday was a rainy mess and track conditions deteriorated quickly. No uncertainty this contributed to several New scratches.

This mitt designer with all his hopes on Proud Spell in the Oaks; she did not disappoint. Proud Spell took the advance at the furlong pole and never looked back cruising to a five size conclusion over Little Belle.

In spite of heavy favorite Big Brown in the Derby field, whispers started that Eight Belles may have a shot at an upset. Big Brown had worn the outside position in the gate. No horse had ever won the Derby from the far outside receipts position.

Going into the final turn, Eight Belles was doing exactly what designer had wanted. She was trailing Big Brown closely on the outside in third and fourth place respectively and clear track to the finish line.

The sprint to the distinction started. Both Big Brown and Eight Belles quickly passed body Bob Black Jack and Cowboy Cal. The period would belong to Big Brown as he pulled away from the pack success by five lengths with a time of 2:01.

Then almost a quarter mile from the finish line, tragedy struck again. Far past the finish distinction few of the 157,000 + at Churchill Downs directly noticed the filly collapse.

Eight Belles jockey Gabriel Saez felt something criminal but it was too late.

“After we passed the wire, I stood up,” Saez said in a statement. “She started galloping funny and I tried to pull her up, but she went down.”

The trauma was bad, very bad. Eight Belles had broken both from ankles. She was euthanized on the track.

The Kentucky Derby remains the most exciting two minutes in all of sports but these recent tragedies module combust more talk of “at what cost?”That communicating is fair and probably needed but let’s clear a few points before the communicating starts:

Thoroughbred horses at this take are not abused. These are superbly healthy and serviceable concern class athletes. These are million note investments and every possible care is afforded them.

Horse racing fans are not same fans of blood sports same cock fighting. I can assure you that not one person of the 157,770 at Churchill Downs found any experience in watching that filly being put down.
