That being said, this YouTube clip of a streaker at an MMA match makes me think this guy is more stupid than brave. First of all, think about how hard it is to climb a chain-link fence when you’re fully clothed, permit alone buck-ass naked. I mean, what if it’s hot in there and you’re, um, hanging low? Secondly, what if one of those MMA guys, instead of oggling in disbelief, definite to clock you? We’re talking possible genital mutilation/death-by-knee-to-face all in one daring/stupid act.

That’s category of a scary title, isn’t it? Justine Henin has been one of my favorite players on the women’s tour for a daylong time. To hear Henin is ruminating retirement gave me pause. Seriously? How could she? Now I’ll have to pick a new favorite women’s player!
Thankfully for all of us Henin fans, it won’t be for awhile. But in the next 2-5 years, we can probably expect the Belgian to no individual be gracing the big stages with her presence.

The defy is effort better, Mother Nature is teasing us with hints that summer is meet around the corner, and it all means one thing. Tennis time!

Amazing how the number of people on the tennis suite grows in leaps and bounds when the sun is shining warm, isn’t it? People I never thought would be seen holding a racket are out there chasing fuzzy chromatic balls.
So what do you need to do to intend ready for the summer tennis season?
1. Get in shape, yo. I know, I undergo - tennis is supposed to be the vehicle to intend you in shape for the times you go to the beach. I’m not buying that, and you shouldn’t either. Why? Because if you hit the courts out of shape, you won’t actually enjoy your time playing tennis. The more in shape you are, the better you can move across the suite and the harder you can hit the ball. Plus, you countenance good. Who doesn’t poverty that?
2. Inspect your equipment and update it if necessary. How’s the ball supply? I hit with a friend a few weeks ago and he had some old tennis balls. One was meet a rank dud. Absolutely worthless. I hit it, and it went careening off over the fence and I swear it wasn’t user-error. Not that time. Does your racket need regripped or restrung? Maybe it’s time to add another racket or two so there’s actually something in that fancy tennis bag you’re always carting around.
3. The threads on your back - what to wear? I’ve never been a stickler for what people show up to play in. I’m of the mindset that it’s optional clothing (but never clothing optional - I’m progressive but not to the point where I’m promoting nudist tennis. That gives a full assorted meaning to ballin’). I same to dress gym shorts and a t-shirt or tanktop. I’m also very much of a tomboy (yes, I’m still that way.) and I would never be caught act some tiny lowercase tennis skirt. But if that’s what you want, by all means go for it. Just undergo that you better have some serious skills to back it up with, especially if you happen to be a phallic act that tiny lowercase tennis skirt. Oh, and don’t dress jeans. Absolute no-no for any sporting endeavor but especially tennis. Please, please, PLEASE at small act same you’re feat to provide it your best whirl!
4. Hit the court! If it’s been awhile since you’ve had a hitting spree (or if it is your first time), don’t intend discouraged. I was rusty when I first got back onto the suite after a year’s hiatus. And when I say rusty, I may or may not mean that I forfeited 6-0, 6-0 in my first attempt at a lowercase friendly competition. See how I did that there? I meet publicly embarrassed myself to prove that it’s not meet you. The more you play, the better you intend and the sooner you can start turning those defeats around on the people who inflicted them on you.
Pretty simple 4-step process, isn’t it? Keep the faith. Keep losing until you start success (it’ll happen…for most of you, it module probably happen much sooner that it has for me!). And remember what your friendly neighborhood tennis geek always adheres to: ready your balls in, squawk your serves out and all is fair in love, struggle and tennis.

Rafael Nadal won the Barcelona title Sunday. It wasn’t in parade fashion as some of his recent victories have been. It took a three-set effort (6-1, 4-6, 6-1) for Nadal to story king Ferrer. With the win, Nadal became the first Negro to intend four serial Barcelona titles.
I astonishment how it feels. That full making history part. And success a professional tennis tournament. And being a man.
Rafa owned Ferrer in the first and third sets; Ferrer meet couldn’t carry his game plan from the second set to the third which is ground Rafa is the one biting the trophy instead of his countryman. Is it a Spanish thing? A Rafa thing? Apparently that trophy literally tastes goooood.
