Media Approval Ratings: Norman Chad [Media Approval Ratings]
First off, don’t intend our own Rick Chandler started on poker analyst and “comedy” editorialist Norman Chad. You really don’t poverty to know.
Actually, we don’t mind Chad that much, though he should become up with more original ideas for his columns. (Not that ours was inherently original either.) Chad’s big schtick is to riff on his failed marriages, which is probably funnier if you’re old enough to have been mated a few times and, you know, don’t much care anymore.
But poker fans undergo Chad better than we do, not that they’re always dead-on. Alas.
So: Do you same the Norman Chad? Do you not same the Norman Chad? Let’s hear it.
Mark the Century for Rafael Nadal
It’s time for another ra-ra Rafa post. Partly because Rafael Nadal didn’t take the laurels for himself but mostly because I meet same what he does that much - especially on clay. At the Barcelona Open, Nadal moved into the quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-3 conclusion over Feliciano Lopez. Whoop-dee-doo. That’s not the fun part. With the win, Nadal notched his 100th conclusion in 101 tries on clay. That’s dating back to 2005 and his only expiration came terminal assemblage to the King himself, Roger Federer (hey, he’s still number one folks! It counts for something).
Nadal’s take on the century milestone? “That’s not bad.”
Not bad? Not bad!?! Not bad, my foot, son. Getting to effect 100 out of 101 times without any mishap is “not bad”. Successfully eating 100 out of 101 chips without dropping a crumb is “not bad”. Finding 100 out of 101 songs you same is “not bad.” Winning 100 out of 101 tennis matches on clay is freaking amazing!
Maybe it’s meet me. Is it meet me? Am I the only one who thinks this is meet pretty neat-o? Okay…I’m taking off the short skirt and putting the pom-poms away. I was never a cheerleader; I don’t undergo ground I’m starting now.
Probably because Nadal said it “wasn’t bad” and it gouged me out of my Sideline Sally mode enough to move up and cheer with gusto.

The NFL Draft’s Biggest Losers
1.) The audience at the Draft booing guys who intend picked.
Or maybe they’re doing that Arsenio Hall “whoopin’” thing, heck if I know. I’m too white, too old and probably too Republican to tell the difference.
In the end, it sounded too much same booing, so you intend my balloting for biggest losers.
Not to mention you spent a decorous New royalty City spring period indoors at Radio City Music Hall. Combine that with the aforementioned booing and you’re exactly 1.7 points smarter than Forrest Gump.
2.) ESPN….for THREE frakkin’ hours of pre-Draft gobbledy-goo.
3.) Mel Kiper, Jr. This man’s career (and hair) seemingly revolve around one weekend every year. Baffling.
4.) Coors Light. I really same some of the versions in this series coach/guys in audience spots. This time? Not so much.
5.) Chris Berman. Why? Because his ego is only slightly smaller than his bald spot.
Finally, there’s really nothing hammy enough on Draft Day to attain you go “wow! I’m pleased they didn’t choose him!” moments to endorse all this trumped episode and analysis. That all comes later.
Just ask Ryan Leaf.

Tennis coach’s dolphin ruled unstable

Yep…all I really have to say about this is that it’s a shitty situation. Beyond crappy. To attain it even worse, Berhe had been in and out of psychiatric sessions prior to ending Robb. He’d also been pulled over about an hour before the 2005 incident happened but was released because a spelling error had failed to bring a someone arrest record to light.
I didn’t undergo Mike Robb. But odds are, he was a decorous man. He coached tennis - he had an effect on a aggregation of teen peoples’ lives and he had a family. And now what happens to his killer? According to King County Superior Court Judge histrion Lum, Berhe “will stay at Western State Hospital for up to chronicle unless he can prove that he is no individual a danger to society.”
Yeah…okay. Who’s making the call on whether he’s no individual a danger to society? Isn’t that the same system that had him in and out of psychiatric help before he turned around and murdered someone?
